Captain Tartu

Well last weekend was really sunny. I almost believed the summer was here... until it rained yesterday of course ;)
In Bretagne, in summer lots of festivals take place. It's very nice especially when it's warm. Last saturday, we went to the "Festival du chant marin" in Paimpol, that celebrates every two years the sailors' songs. You can see lots of boats with many colors and flags, eat good food (of course we are in France ;) ) and listen to different musics (local or international).

Marius who really loves music had so much fun, he didn't say a lot about it but it shows on the pictures! He especially enjoyed the song called "Capitaine Tartu" because it sounds like his nickname "Tartuffe".

It was a great weekend! Even at night the concerts were great with bands from Bretagne as well as from Cuba.

Yesterday, I was on duty and told Marius to come by to visit where I spend a lot of time. He had never been in my fire station before. I think he liked it and asked a lot of questions about it. He was surprised because my superior was a woman. Marius and my dad happened to arrive at the firstation right at the moment when the truck was leaving. So they got the chance to see the firefighters run, get ready and leave. And finally we took pictures before they left.

Thankfully the sun is back today!
I'll be in Paris on Wednesday for my work so I bet this week is just gonna seem to me so short! The weekend will soon be there, bringing my sister to Bretagne :D
